The Life and Legacy of Peter Strudel
Born in Cles, Italy, Peter Strudel was an Austrian painter and sculptor who played a significant role in the transition of Austria to the high baroque style. His career saw him rise to prominence in Vienna, where between 1676 and 1686, he and his brother Paul obtained a position as painters to the Imperial Court at the Hofburg.
