Later Years and Academic Contributions

In the later stages of his life, Delorge's activities shifted toward the northern regions of France. He spent time in Amiens and later moved to Lille, where he provided painting lessons and worked on portraits. He was deeply involved in the institutional side of art, founding the Academy of Drawing and Painting in Bergues. During his time there, he was tasked with documenting the paintings, sculptures, and engravings from the furniture of the Abbey of Saint-Winoc.
