The Life and Artistic Career of Eugène Baudin
Born in Lyon, France, Eugène Baudin was a painter and textile artist who studied at the École des beaux-arts de Lyon alongside Claude Bonnefond, Marc Laurent Bruyas, and Jean-Marie Reignier. Beyond his work in textiles, Baudin was a founding member of the Salon d'automne de Lyon. He was also a father to two painters, Eugène Valentin Baudin and Alexandre Louis Baudin, both of whom were former students at the École des beaux-arts de Lyon.
