          Discover the art of nukardleq najâraq eva høegh, a pioneering Greenlandic artist known for nationalistic expressionism, blending local myths & nature into her paintings, graphics, and sculptures.

          In her works for the Greenland Room, Aka Høegh (born 1947) has depicted the four seasons in Greenland, or more accurately, in the south-western part of Greenland where she lives. In her landscapes she has one foot in romanticism and the other in modern pictorial art, predominantly in abstract expressionism.
