The Artistic Journey of Norbert Pümpel
Born in 1956 in Innsbruck, Austria, Norbert Pümpel is a visual artist who lives and works in Drosendorf an der Thaya, Austria. His career began with concept art at the end of the 1970s. As an autodidact, his work develops at the interface of natural science, philosophy, and theology, addressing themes such as time, space, quantum physics, and the theory of probability.

- Ash works on the subject of Hiroshima and Nagasaki
- Egg tempera, cadmium red, and ashes on canvas
- Oils, bitumen, and solutions on thin Chinese rice paper
- The "Condensates" series based on Bose-Einstein condensation
