Eduard Young was a painter and draftsperson born in Prague. His artistic journey began with training in Linz and later in Vienna under Moritz Daffinger. After spending several years at the Danish court, Young eventually settled permanently in Munich in 1866. While working in the studios of Karl Raupp and Carl Theodor von Piloty, his artistic output focused heavily on rural genre scenes.
