Primi Anni e Formazione Dwight William Tryon nacque il 13 agosto 1849 a Hartford, nel Connecticut, da Anson Tryon e Delia O. Roberts. La prematura morte del padre lo lasciò affidato alla cura della madre e dei nonni nella loro fattoria di East Hartford.
