Early Life and Artistic Training William Dyce (1806–1864) syntyi Aberdeenissa, Skotlannissa, lääkärin ja Royal Societyn jäsenen Dr William Dycen sekä Margaret Chalmersin, pankkiirikkaan miehen tyttären poikana.
