Early in his development, Esiebo engaged in vital artistic dialogues with the U.S.-based photographer Paul Udstrand, whose introduction to seminal photographic works expanded his intellectual horizons. This period of growth was further enriched by the practical mastery he gained while assisting his uncle, Esiebo Joseph, a commercial photographer in Ibadan.
