Henry Scott Tuke (HS Tuke) Henry Scott Tuke var en dansk kunstner født i York, England, den 12 juni 1858, og opvokset i Lawrence Street, hvor hans far, Daniel Hack Tuke, var en fremtrædende læge med speciale i psykiatri. Hans familie havde dybe rødder i Quaker traditionen, og hans bedstefar William Tuke grundlagde Retreat Hospital i York i 1796 – et af de første moderne psychiatriske hospitaler og en pioner inden for humane behandling…
