Full Name: James Morrison Catchpole
Grew up in Cornwall after his family relocated.
Began playing guitar at age 12, influenced by his uncle who taught him blues riffs.
Started busking in Newquay and Truro, Cornwall, honing his skills as a performer.
Early musical influences included Al Green, Otis Redding, Cat Stevens, and The Kinks.

Rise to Fame and Undiscovered Success

Signed with Polydor Records after being discovered by producer Kev Andrews.
Supported Corinne Bailey Rae on tour, gaining valuable experience.
Released his debut single "You Give Me Something" in 2006, which became a major hit across Europe and Japan, reaching the top five in the UK.
His debut album, Undiscovered (2006), topped the UK Albums Chart and sold over two million copies worldwide.
Follow-up singles from Undiscovered included "Wonderful World" and "The Pieces Don't Fit Anymore," both achieving chart success in the UK.
