In Untitled (Trace 1, 2 & 3), Calame depicts a highway of soft pastel and primary color lines to create markings, which intertwine, overlap and swirl endlessly in their multiple layers and gestures that develop an ongoing sense of movement, while exposing the overlooked and quiet moments drawn out by her use of negative space.
