Life and Artistic Journey Peter Janssen was a German painter born in Bonn. He studied at the Düsseldorf Art Academy under Heinrich Nauen, Johan Thorn-Prikker, and Carl Ederer, later continuing his studies at the Académie de la Grande Chaumière in Paris. His life was marked by significant movement, including stays in Italy, America, and England. During the war years, he was held in a labor camp in Lönnewitz before escaping and returning
