A Life in Carlsbad Karol Frk entered the world in 1898 in Carlsbad, Czech Republic. This town, known for its thermal springs and quiet elegance, provided the backdrop for his early years. Growing up in a region where the landscape was shaped by mineral waters and historical architecture, he lived through a period of significant change in the Czech lands.
