          Rano detinjstvo i obuka

          Bernardo Strozzi, poznat i pod imenima il cappuccino i il prete genovese, bio je istaknuti italijanski barokni slikar i gravir koji je rođen 1581. godine u Đenovi, u Italiji. Njegovo rano umetničko obrazovanje oblikovalo se u radionici Cesare Corte, manje poznatog slikara iz Đenove, pod čijim je mentorstvom Strozzi razvijao svoje veštine sve do 1596. godine. Nakon toga, pridružio se radionici Pietro Sorri, inovativnog slikara iz Sijene, koji je Strozzija usmerio ka prirodističnijem i senzualnijem stilu.

          Umetnička karijera
