          Bernardo Strozzi, znan tudi pod imeni il cappuccino in il prete genovese, je bil izstopajoč italijanski barokni slikar in grafičar, ki se je rodil leta 1581 v Genovi v Italiji. Njegovo zgodnje umetniško oblikovanje se je odvijalo v ateljeju Cesare Corte, manj znanega genovškega slikarja, pod katerega vodstvom je Strozzi razvijal svoje veščine vse do leta 1596.
