          Življenje in umetniška evolucija umetnika William Hart

          Rodjen v mestu Paisley v Združenih kraljestvih, je se William Hart leta 1831 preselil v Združene države z družino, kjer se je končno udomučil v Albanyju, v state New York. Njegova zgodnja umetniška pot se je začela kot podlearn pri dekorativnem slikarju v Albanyju in Troyu, kjer je pridobil prvo izkušnjo z dekoriranjem panelov koč z naravnimi motivi.

          Po obdobju, ko je slikaril portrete in po neuspešnih poskusih iskanja naročnikov v središčnih državah, je Hart leta 1848 razstavil svoje prvo delo na Nacionalni akademiji oblikovanja.
