After graduating from Mathematical High School, he pursued studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade, where he earned his M.A. in 2002 and later achieved his Doctor of Art degree in 2016. This blend of mathematical precision and fine art training perhaps informs the rhythmic quality found in his compositions.
