          Никола Шевалье, художник российского происхождения, оставил неизгладимый след в мире искусства своими работами, созданными в Австралии и Новой Зеландии.           Творческий путь

          Творческое путешествие привело Шевалье в Лондон в 1851 году, где он работал иллюстратором, осваивая технику литографии и акварели. Среди его проектов был фонтан, воздвигнутый в королевских угодьях Осборна, а две его картины были представлены в Академии в 1852 году. Дальнейшее обучение в Риме предшествовало его переезду в Австралию в конце 1854 года.
