Panagiotis Kalantzis emerged from Sparta, Greece, in 1970, forging a path that seamlessly blends medical expertise with artistic vision. Initially pursuing medicine at the University of Athens and Kapodistrian University, he earned his Bachelor’s degree in 2003 before serving as a physician in the Air Force – an experience profoundly shaping his understanding of human resilience and service. His dedication to healthcare continued through rural practice in the Trikala region, where he honed his skills diagnosing and treating patients in underserved communities. This formative period fueled his ambition to advance his knowledge further, leading him to pursue postgraduate studies in surgery and orthopedics at Livadia Hospital and subsequently completing his residency at Athens General Hospital “Evangelismos,” specializing in manual surgery, upper limb reconstruction, and sports medicine. His commitment to excellence culminated in a doctorate in Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology in 2013, marking the culmination of years of rigorous training.
Following his academic achievements, Kalantzis transitioned into private practice as a consultant orthopedist at Kavala General Hospital until 2014, focusing on innovative approaches to treating osteoarthritis and knee injuries—particularly those stemming from athletic activity.
