A Life of Art and Instruction
Vojtěch Brechler was a Czech painter and illustrator, born in Prague. He was a student of Antonín Mánes and Maximilian Haushofer. Upon returning to his homeland in 1872, he served as a professor at the Higher German Old Town Gymnasium in Prague.
