The Life and Art of Ulvi Liegi
Born in Livorno, Italy, the painter Luigi Mosè Levi became known professionally by the anagram Ulvi Liegi. His artistic journey began with an initial education in his hometown before he moved to Florence to study at the Academy of Arts under Adolfo Tommasi, Carlo Markò the Younger, and Giuseppe Ciaranfi. His presence in the international art scene was marked by his participation in the 1889 World's Fair in Paris.
