Kwok’s early years were a period of profound intellectual expansion. While honing his technical skills at the Grantham College of Education, he simultaneously immersed himself in the academic rigor of the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the University of Hong Kong. This dual exposure to traditional Eastern aesthetics and Western avant-garde movements—specifically the subversive energies of Surrealism and Dadaism—became the crucible for his unique artistic language.
