Žolt Kovač (1975 –)

Blending Pop Art influences with comic book aesthetics, Serbian artist Žolt Kovač captures the beauty of everyday stillness in works like Bowl With Fruit, inviting you to discover the vibrant narratives within his Empty Time series.

Žolt Kovač’s artistic practice frequently carries references to the visual narrative techniques of comic books, images of city life, and Pop Art. In his series Empty Time, the artist presents moments from the spare time of two people sharing the same space.
