Wang Wenbin courtesy name as Yiren, born in Qingdao, Shandong province. He was the former chief and editor of Art Section of Shandong People’s Publishing House. In 1955 he went to China Central Academy of Fine Arts for further study and then entered Luo Gongliu Studio. He graduated from the Oil Painting Department, China Central Academy of Fine Arts. He taught in the Affiliated Middle School of China Central Academy of Fine Arts. He was the professor of Oil Painting Department and Mural Painting Department, the member of the Academic Committee of the China Central Academy of Fine Arts and Chinese Artists Association, and the member of Mural Committee of Chinese Artists Association.
