Damian Moppett is an artist whose creative practice spans a diverse range of media, including sculpture, painting, drawing, photography, and video. Born in Calgary, Moppett was taught painting and drawing by his parents, Carroll Moppett and Ron Moppett. He earned his BFA from the Emily Carr College of Art and Design and an MFA from Concordia University. He has since been a resident of Vancouver since 1990 and teaches at the Emily Carr University of Art and Design. His professional history includes residencies such as the International Residences Program in the Visual Arts and SPACE in London, UK.
