Evolution and Teaching
Marstboom's career was marked by significant professional shifts and a diverse range of subjects. During the years between 1942 and 1947, he spent time in Kasterlee in the Campine region. His work also extended to the stage, where he designed costumes and sets for the National Theatre of Antwerp. This theatrical involvement influenced his personal style, leading him to incorporate actresses, plants, and reveries into his compositions.
