お手頃な価格のプリント：コットンキャンバスの代わりに240 g/m²のポリエステルキャンバスに同じ画像をプリントしたものです。筒状に丸めた状態で、通常郵便にて3〜5週間でお届けします。丸巻き状態でのみのお届け（ストレッチャーやフレームは含まれません）となり、特急制作には対応しておりません。片方の辺が 80 cm以下のサイズが対象です。コットンキャンバスプリントに比べ、約30%お得です。
このサイズではご利用いただけません。少なくとも一辺が 80 cm以下である必要があります。

A muscular, dark-toned figure dominates this circular composition, seated amidst swirling, voluminous clouds. This is Pluto, the Roman deity of the underworld, rendered with a heavy, physical presence. His gaze is directed downward in a pensive attitude, one hand running through a thick black beard while the other holds a key—the traditional attribute signifying his dominion over the realm of the dead. The atmosphere is somber, defined by a palette of earthy browns, grays, and blacks that emphasize the gloom of his domain.
The tension of the scene is heightened by the presence of Cerberus, the three-headed guardian dog. The beast is depicted with large, open jaws, poised for action at the god's side. The interplay of light and shadow, or chiaroscuro, illuminates the musculature of Pluto's torso and his weathered skin, leaving much of the surrounding void in deep shadow. This dramatic lighting creates a sense of depth, pulling the viewer toward the central figure through the overlapping forms of the god and his canine protectors.
Executed in 1592, this work reflects the transition from late Renaissance formalism toward the naturalism of the early Baroque. The artist, Agostino Carracci, moved away from the artificiality of Mannerism by embracing classical ideals and direct observation. The muscularity of the figure and the dynamic, turbulent movement of the clouds suggest a departure from stylized grace in favor of raw, physical power. This approach was central to the Bolognese School, which sought to reconcile the elegance of antiquity with a more profound connection to reality.
The technique relies on the layering of oil paint to build depth and texture. While preparatory drawings for this subject often featured a bident, this final version utilizes the key to denote the god's authority. The work functions as a study in light and shadow, using directional illumination to define form and emotional weight. It remains a significant example of the shift toward a more naturalistic, emotionally charged depiction of mythological subjects.
