The voices in my head is a work by Johan Deckmann (Copenhagen, Denmark), an artist and practising psychotherapist. Humour is one of the great pillars of his production, but also psychology and psychoanalysis. Through these “one-liners”, related to mental health and the many ills of contemporary society, he connects the viewer with the work on a deeply personal level. Deckmann combines humour, observation and an accessible visual language to address everyday existential dilemmas.
