Deep Portrait Studies Vertical is a video by the Russian artist Egor Kraft (Saint Petersburg, Russia, 1986) in which a series of sculptures created by artificial intelligence are presented. In his studies on classical busts and Greco-Roman sculpture, he introduces the latest technology, creating a direct dialogue between the past, the present, and the future. The temporary and fleeting nature of AI and the permanence and transcendence of classical sculpture come into conflict, giving rise to the ground-breaking work of the Russian artist. The changing territories in which reality and misrepresentation merge are the artist
