Having studied Industrial Design at La Cambre in Brussels and Woodworking and Furniture Design at Hongik University in Seoul, respectively, the two artists found common ground while pursuing graduate studies at the Royal College of Art in London. Upon graduation, they established the design studio DrawMeaSheep (2005-2009) in Belgium. Their early projects, which focused on translating observations of contemporary society and culture into sculptural objects that invite reflection, established the conceptual framework that continues to define their practice today. ‘Nature V2.01’ (2006-2009) served to spark questions and reflection on the correlation between humans, nature, and industry.
