William Orpen: En Irsk Maler af Krigens Realisme og Psykologisk Dybde William Newenham Montague Orpen (1878–1931) blev født i Stillorgan, nær Dublin, Irland – den fjerde og yngste søn af Arthur Herbert Orpen, en jurist, og hans kone Anne Caulfield.
