Life and Artistic Journey
Born in the 10th arrondissement of Paris, France, Colette Beleys was a French painter who spent approximately sixty years working in her studio in the Montparnasse district on rue Huyghens. Her early training included drawing lessons and studies in lithography, followed by coursework at the École des arts appliqués and the École des beaux-arts de Paris.
