The Life and Education of Calle Wargh

Calle Wargh, also known as Carl Anders Volter Wargh, was a Finnish painter born in Vaasa, Finland. His lineage included his parents, Anders Nymanlähde and Sofia Schoultz. Wargh pursued formal artistic training through significant European institutions, studying at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Munich between 1913 and 1914. Later, in 1920, he studied in Paris under the guidance of André Lhoten.

In 1922, Wargh married the artist Meri Genetzin.
