Early Life and Education

Born in 1936 in Bengaluru, India.
Graduated in Painting from the Indian College of Arts and Draftsmanship, Kolkata, in 1958.
In 1965, he traveled to Paris on an exchange program supported by the French government, where he studied graphic art & murals. This experience profoundly influenced his artistic perspective.
