The Life and Art of Giuseppe Diotti
Francesco Giuseppe Antonio Diotti was an Italian painter of the Neoclassic style. Born in Casalmaggiore, he began his training as an apprentice to Paolo Araldi before studying at the Academy of Fine Arts of Parma under Gaetano Callani. In 1804, a scholarship allowed him to study in Rome under Vincenzo Camuccini.
