Život a rané roky: Formovanie vizionára Andy Warhol, rodený Andrew Warhola Jr., sa narodil 6. augusta 1928 v Pittsburghu, Pensylvánia, do rodiny rusínskych imigrantov z dedinky Miková na Slovensku. Jeho detstvo bolo poznačené skromnými pomermi a zároveň silným umeleckým potenciálom. Už ako dieťa trpel chorobou známou ako Sydenhamova chorea – často nazývaná St. Vitus’ Dance – ktorá ho dlho držala v izolácii, no práve táto nútená samota…
