Born in the La Colonia Libertad neighborhood of Tijuana, Mexico, in 1965, Salomón Huerta carries within his brushstrokes a profound dialogue between two worlds. His journey from the borderlands to the vibrant streets of Boyle Heights, Los Angeles, at the age of four, fundamentally shaped an artistic consciousness rooted in the complexities of the Mexican-American experience.
