A restless spirit propelled him to pursue higher education abroad, initially delving into Scandinavian languages at Gothenburg University before pivoting towards Art History at Innsbruck, Austria – a dual intellectual pursuit that profoundly influenced his artistic vision.

The 1980s proved pivotal for Nowacki’s artistic trajectory; he discovered the compelling aesthetic of Polish Constructivism, spearheaded by Henryk Stazewski.
