Born in the parish of Ystad, Sweden, Axel Borg spent his life observing the quiet nuances of the world around him. After his time in France, he returned to Örebro, a city that would remain a central part of his life and a frequent subject of his brush.
His work often focused on the intersection of nature and the everyday. He had a particular talent for capturing the stillness of a landscape or the subtle weight of a social scene.
