          Rano djetinjstvo i edukacija

          Bernardo Strozzi, poznat i pod imenima il cappuccino i il prete genovese, bio je istaknuti talijanski barokni slikar i gravir koji je rođen 1581. godine u Genovi, u Italiji. Njegovo rano umjetničko oblikovanje odvijalo se u radionici Cesare Corte, manje poznatog genovizkog slikara, pod čijim je vodstvom Strozzi usavršavao svoje vještine sve do 1596. godine. Nakon toga, pridružio se radionici Pietra Sorrija, inovativnog slikara iz Sjene, koji je Strozzija usmjerio prema prirodističkijem stilu.
