          Li Baolin was born in 1936 in Siping, Jilin Province. He graduated from the Department of Chinese Painting of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1963. He was a senior member of the Ministry of Culture and enjoyed special allowances from the State Council. Now he is Vice President of the Chinese National Academy of Painting, National First-Class Artist, Vice Director of the Chinese Painting Arts Committee of the Chinese Artists Association, and Chairman of the Chinese Urban Art Professional Committee. He has held exhibitions in Britain, France, Denmark, Canada, Japan, Spain, Malaysia, Italy, Hong Kong, Macao and Beijing. His representative works include
