Pierre Renoir (1885–1952) was a French stage and film actor, son of the Impressionist painter Pierre-Auguste Renoir and elder brother of Jean Renoir. He gained fame as Inspector Jules Maigret in "Night at the Crossroads." Notable films include "La Digue," "Les deux gosses," "Madame Bovary," "The Patriot," and "Wolves Between Them." His son, Claude Renoir, was a cinematographer.
