He studied at the School of Fine Arts in Bangkok (1963-1965) before attending Silpakorn University, where he earned a B.F.A. in Graphic Art (1966-1970). His education continued with an M.F.A. in Painting from the University of Washington, Seattle (1973-1975), supported by a Thai Government Scholarship.
