Albert Marquet (1875–1947): A Painter of Light and Atmosphere Albert Marquet, celým jménem Pierre-Albert Marquet (27. března 1875 v Bordeaux – 14. července 1947 v Paříži), byl francouzský malíř a grafický umělec. Jeho dílo je charakteristické pro svou jemnou koloristiku, atmosférickou hloubku a precizní zobrazení vodních ploch, zejména přístavů a pobřeží severní Afriky. Marquet se stal významným představitelem moderního malířství, vyvinul vlastní styl po zkušenostech s fauvismem a vlivu impresionismu.
