البدايات والمسيرة المهنية
فينانزو كروتشيتي، ذلك النحات الإيطالي المبدع، ولد في مدينة جوليانوفا بمنطقة أبروتسو في الثالث من أغسطس عام 1913. اتسمت حياته بشغف عميق بالفن، وهو الشغف الذي قاده ليصبح أحد أشهر فناني عصره. وفي سن الثانية عشرة، واجه كروتشيتي مرارة اليتم وعانى من فقر مدقع، إلا أن موهبته الفذة ورغبته الجامحة في الإبداع كانت طوق النجاة الذي أنقذه من تلك الصعاب. وفي عام 1928، انتقل إلى روما، حيث عمل مرمماً في مختبرات الفاتيكان، وتضمنت مسيرته هناك فترة استمرت أربع سنوات قضى فيها بين سقالات كنيسة سيستينا العريقة.
